<p>The truth of matter is that 2 pounds per week is not the maximum amount of fat you can safely lose in week. It is only a recommendation from the fitness gurus. The actual fat you can lose depends on many different factors. For instance weight loss is relative to how tall you are andhow fast your metabolism is.</p>
<p>Weight loss is an extremely meaningless term unless you talk about it in context of body composition period for instance the fat to muscle ratio, or the water to weight ratio.</p>
<p>So how do you lose more than 2 pounds per week?</p>
<p>It is possible to lose for you more than 2 pounds per week of pure body fat. However, it is easier at the beginning and harder as you progress through your diet.My rule of thumb is that great results require great effort. This means that you&#8217;ll have to be committed to your diet and stick to your workout schedule. Now if you want to lose more than 2 pounds per week you simply need a bigger calorie deficit. For instance, if 2,500 calories is your daily maintenance level and you want to drop 3 pounds of body fat per week with just a diet then youll need a daily deficit of 1500 calories. This means that you should be eating 1000 calories per day. Now you would lose a massive amount of weight if you could maintain this deficit. However, most people will not be able to last long on this little amount of food. A different option you could train every day for long periods of time.</p>
<p>So what is the cure? Train harder or eat less.</p>
<p>My approach to this problem is a long-term weight control. This means patiently following a nutrition plan that is well-balanced between lean protein, natural carbs and healthy fats. Theres no magic and no quick fix to losing body fat but there arent many different methods that are proven to work. This makes balance as important as strength in this exercise. Another variation of the squat is to hold the Bosu ball over your head and perform squats while standing on the floor.</p>
<p> Another leg workout is the lunge. With the bubble up give yourself a step distance from the Bosu. Start with either leg and perform a lunge onto the top of the Bosu. Switch legs as you perform the exercise. As you perform this exercise you can hold weights.</p>
<p> Mid-section exercises work the abdominal muscles. You can perform a simple sit up by sitting on top of the dome with your feet on the floor. You could also lift your feet and perform crunches by pulling your legs into your chest then pushing them back out. You can do the bicycle crunch exercises or any number of other exercises while sitting on the Bosu. The Bosu ball ensures that your abs are tightened through each exercise as you will work to keep your balance.</p>
<p> Upper body workouts with the Bosu include pushups. Perform the standard pushup by keeping your feet on the floor and placing your hands on the Bosu. You can also place your hands on the floor and put your feet up on the Bosu dome to do pushups. Advanced pushups can be performed by flipping the Bosu over on the flat side and holding the edges as you exercise. <p>It will take longer to feel better when your body is feeling badly too. Find other ways to deal with your negative feelings, rather than eating. Clean the house, do a craft project, go for a bike ride- do everything you can think of to distract yourself. Opt for activities that don&#8217;t add calories to your diet.</p>
<p>Choose healthier food options if you decide to eat. You can get a good crunch from celery or carrot sticks, and you can satisfy your sweet tooth with lower calorie sweet alternatives.</p>
<p>By learning other kinds of coping skills, you won&#8217;t need to eat. And that, truly, is the only way to stop emotional eating.
