Oh god yes!! I hated it but it’s completely normal. My doctor said that it’s caused by your internal organs being moved about to make room.

It’s pretty common. But look at the web sites I gave you for more informative help.

Yes, my back has been hurting since about 8 weeks pregnant and some days it is really bad. I take warm baths and use the Boppy total body pillow to lay on because it is designed to take pressure off your lower back. I’m 17 weeks along now, and it has just been getting worse. Hang in there- it will be worth it when the pregnancy is over!

I did! It was my first/earliest symptom. Some days in my 1st trimester I could barely walk. I took a bath almost every day ( I’m typically a shower person) b/c it hurt so bad. The week I hit my 2nd trimester it went away. Eventually it did come back though, just not constantly or even every day like in my first trimester.

I found out I was pregnant with my first child at 5 weeks along. My back was hurting so I went to the doctor. The doctor said (to my surprise) that I was pregnant and I had a urinary tract infection. I was prescribed antibiotics and when I finished them my back pain was only a dull ache instead of bad pain. My doctor said my ache was normal. Here’s a link to help explain why you get it and ways to help relieve it. Congratulations on your bundle of joy!

    hi, dear…

back aches are really very normal during pregnancy as your internal organs are making space for the growing uterus and your back is having a bit more weight to carry along so its just adjusting to it..so there’s nothing to worry dear..
but if the pain becomes severe, always keep this question in mind when you go to see your midwife or doctor as they will check if there’s anything wrong..

    hope i have helped..!!
