Haven’t you seen the arthritis commercial where the woman’s fingers are hurting from arthritis pain and she was about to jump on a horse?

Depends on what you would like to do with horses.
Maybe think about becoming a cranial sacral therapist for horses. Upledger institute do an equine course. it is gentle and you will do wonders for their health… and it may also help your own condition!

hiya, yes you can still work with them, but the heavy work will bring on your arthritis.and it will be unbearable has you get older.no harm giving it a go.good luck.

I have Fibromyalgia (Pain all over joints and muscles similar to arthritis) and I still ride and show horses competatively althought I do stay on anti imflamatories when I am at horse show due to tons of manual labour with water buckets hay feedings and riding. The past year I have been hiring help in order to use less pain medicine.
