Wasn’t it reported that the pill reduced the chances of ****** cancer? Cant remember. If you have any concerns about any medications or pills of any kind vist a pharmacist or your doctor.

    Kiki hi!

Theoretically speaking, prolonged administration of contraceptive pills can increase the incidence of cancer in women. But in real, the process is much more complex than that.

The pill, provides your body with large and sustained amount of the female hormone Estrogen. This helps you fool your body. It convinces your body that there is pregnancy, hence, no more ovulation will occur, and no more menstruation.

However, the sustained levels of estrogen in your body, may act on specific sites other than the ovaries and uterus, like lets say the breast, causing hyperactivity in the cells, causing them to become crazy and cancer is the result. Since ******* are a main characteristic of females, and because the female hormone is estrogen, the ******* are a very susceptible site for the hormone to act on.
Usually, women who are at high risk of cancer, like whose mother or grandmother is diagnosed with cancer, are more prone to developing ****** cancer. Also, heavy smokers and drinkers are in increased risk. But since you are maintaining a healthy profile, your chances are far more less.

Recently there have been a lot of medical conventions discussing this issue. Nothing is for certain really. But better be safe.

Now, as an advice, you are still young to use contraceptive pills as a measure of escape from your menstruation pain. Let me tell you the alternative.

I suggest Mefenamic acid. You will find it in the market under the trade name Ponstel or Ponstan. These are tablets just like aspirin, they are really effective in alleviating the menstrual pain.

Keep up the good healthy life style. But increase your physical exercise a little bit. Let us say 30 min of brisk walking 3 days a week. If you go out clubbing, dance a little bit more!

    God bless.

As long as you take a break from it, say after 2yrs, you will be OK
