Yes you should see atleast one. My dad has a really bad back and neck and he goes to the chiropracotor at least every week. Also get it checked by a doctor. Feel better soon.

Depends if been sitting at a computer for hours chatting.
Somehow I pulled a muscle the other day stretching from a chair; was too lazy to get up and then later suddenly it hurt to move around in bed – a stiff neck kind of ache.

I put a hot water bottle on it and that did the trick. It should ease up fairly quick, else see a doctor. Preferably not one in a Tardis.

    I Had that Last week
i got my husband to massage my neck and shoulder blades.
Also try a good soak in a warm bath.
But still go see GP if this does not help.

physician first, they dont seem as eager as chiropractor to have so many visits set up for you, if dr doesnt see that you need chiropractor and can suggest other relief, you may find it faster

You need to sit on the chair and imagine that you have a rod pulling your spine straight up, relax your shoulders, tuck your chin in slightly and let you muscles relax a little.

Also hot and cold compress will help, take an anti inflamitory, if this doesn`t work then go to the physio.

See your doc first. Let him recommend what is best for you. In the meantime, check your pillow position and your mattress. Your body, lying down, should be in the same position as it is standing up. If you’re propping up your head with a big pillow, for instance, you’re going to get neck and possibly arm pain. My preference is an osteopath rather than a chiropractor.

I would recommend that you go and see a reputable chiropractor first. Physio can help but if there is an underlying problem with your spine being out of alignment then a phsio will only partially help and relieve your problem whereas a chiropractor will bring your spine back into alignment over a period of time and resolve your issues.

I am an alternative medicinal therapist and a massage therapist. The difference is a chiro manipulates bones a physio deals with muscles mainly both are bloody useless. Chiro’s have now been know to do more harm than good. You should see a massage therapist or an acupressure therapist.
