London WHERE?
If it’s Ontario, the answer is yes. Alcoholism is a disease, and as such is covered under many health plans. Talk to a local detox centre for more information. You have to be free of the influence of alcohol before treatment can begin anyway.
The more people you speak to regarding this, the more options you will find.
Asking around after an A.A. meeting will give you a ton of information on this subject. These are people who have already gone through it,, and are well on their way to improved health!
