try a cold compress over the effective area
if light is making it worse it may be a migrain
Eat something and up your fluids.
Try Ibuprofen 600mg. If no improvement after two hours, take 2 paracetamol and go to bed. Sounds like a migraine. Sweet tea is good, but going to bed in a darkened room will help too.
it could be a migraine. they can sometimes last a while. or it could be that ur going down with a virus. u dont say what u took but u could try taking something stronger with codeine in or a specific migraine painkiller like migraleve. yr chemist should be able to advise u. make sure ur not dehydrated drink plenty of water. if headache still does not respond then, whilst theres probably nothing to worry about, consult yr doctor.
Awe……….my daughter gets migraine headaches so horribly. You may need to take something stronger than an aspirin, like Advil or Excedrine…..or even an extra strength remedie. My daughters are so bad that she must take Vicodin. That’s strong stuff, but with a migraine, that is the only thing that will help her.
Sometimes, the foods we eat can cause bad headaches. Some are milk, wine (most times its the red), and sugar.
Headaches are something caused by not drinking enough water….a simple task. Drink lots of water as it has a way of keeping illness, and even sleepiness away.
Some prescription meds will give you headaches as a side effect. If it’s not that, ask your subconscious mind to reveal to you the source of the headache. Could be allergies to dust (is your room dusty? Vacuum and use a duster, see if that helps) In the meantime, try this:
Lay down somewhere with lights off for about 10 min. Breathe in blue into the headache (use imagination) and see black being breathed out thru your mouth, getting rid of the headache. Breathe slowly, rhythmically, deeply yet comfortably, don’t hold the breath, breathe naturally. Keep this up until all the black is gone and only the healing blue light remains in your head. Try it, it’s uncanny but it works.
Its a tumor for sure.
i would say get it checked out by a dr. just to be on the safe side..i get alot of migraines and i have sharp pains around my eyeballs and in my forhead…i take excedrin extra strength..i highly recommend that..seems like my pains settled down within 15 min. of taking the medication…if u go to a dr they will prescribe a stroger dose of pain killers that will seem to help u a lil more…
If you go to the docs he will probably tell you to get your eyes tested. I wear glasses and this happened to me, although my glasses seemed fine I had them tested and they had changed.
I would get them tested just incase.
with your index fingers press the temples at the side of your head hold for few moments then release. Do this a few times. Also deep breathing and some chill out time. Try a warm bath with candles-relax it soon will go.
