It sounds like she’s had enough of being polite… I like wizards sleeves, that’s funny. My mom did this too when enough was enough. We all thought she was losing her mind. She wasn’t. I bet your mother isn’t either.
Any other symptoms, like forgetfulness, wondering, getting lost? I’m embarrassed to say that my grandfather would grab my and my friends ******* when I’d visit from college, but he didn’t know appropriate actions, he would often swear and I never heard this from him. Its worse at night-sundowners. We would quickly get his attention on something else. I was just thankful for all and even any time I had with him. Enjoy your mom, go with the flow as long as she isn’t in danger because this is a life consuming disease. God Bless
ps its ok to let it out and even laugh later when she isn’t around, you will need to learn how to vent.
i think your mum has had enough of being restrained by manners. enjoy her candour. signs of senility are, forgetfullness, harking back to previous times, aggression, hunger/no appetite, listlessness, hiding items, loosing the thread of conversation.
Sounds more like Father Jack syndrome.
She sounds like she can’t be bothered anymore with pretence and is having a giggle. Good on her!!
